The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to begin their own adventure, separate from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear out of place, but the events of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing started the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then settled his liabilities and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

Future Episodes

According to the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Questers and Schemers parties.

Audiences can look forward to learning which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
