Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
